I have been shopping for awhile on tyre to replace the current Pirelli P7 (205/55/16) (Made in Brazil).

I have shortlisted to the following:
1. Michelin PS3 (Top Choice because of recommendation and made in Thailand)
2. Pirelli Cinturato P7 (Second Top Choice because of good sidewall but it was Made in China. If it is not Made in China it would be my top choice)
3. Continental CC5/MC5 (Eliminated because of soft sidewall and mostly recommend Michelin PS3)

The prices:
1. Michelin PS3 (Thailand Made) (RM 355 - excl. GST)
2. Pirelli Cinturato P7 (China Made) (RM 360 - excl. GST)
3. Continental CC5/MC5 (Malaysia Made if i remembered correctly) (RM 360 - excl. GST)

I would love to heard some feedback on Pirelli Cinturato P7 (Made in China) from folks here. If no good feedback about the it, I might want to go for Michelin PS3 for good record tracking purpose. Some of you said here that PS3 is a UHP typre compare to P7 on Mid-Cat. Money wise, looks like PS3 is the better deal?

Thank You.

Actually you already answered your own question. CC5 are entry level, MC5 and P7 mid level and PS3 are UHP tyres and all cost almost the same and since your priorities are more into handling and grip, PS3 is your answer.....lol

I'm using Michelin Primacy 3ST 205/55R16. suits my Mazda5 MPV very well.

good grip wet and dry, good steering feedback, low noise, very good wear life, sidewall not too soft not too hard.

speed rating: W

category: premium touring (same category as Bridgestone Turanza GR100)

P3ST are mid category also like P7

Hi Guys,

I really appreciate the kindness reply to my query.

Based on research and comment, looks like going with the MICHELIN PS3 is the best choice for now.

Thank you once again for kindness reply.

Regards,

Kim
