Hi bros, I am considering these 3 cars so far unless there are anymore you may like to suggest.

Best spec Mazda 3 2.0
Most expensive Honda 2.0
Best HP and Torque Peugeot 308 Turbo
Best Interior Mazda 3
Best exterior Peugeot 308

Any comments which should I buy? Its for my wife actually and I will drive during weekends with whole family.

So far she now shortlist to either Mazda 3 or Peugeot 308. There is a new 308 Griffe, looks cool.

Anyone hear any problems with 308?

Any other comments or opinion from the forumers? How is your experience with Mazda 3 2.0 HB?

Mazda 3 has no ESP. I would drop it from the list just for this reason.

Women like nice cars BUT they are not very tech savvy...

For that reason, I would omit turbo powered cars for my wife, they do not understand the concept of settle out pressure in turbo machinery...best to stay with NA cars.

For M3, do Bermaz still offer the CBU and CKD options? If yes, go for CBU, the build quality is better. If CKD, then it is a matter of price comparison between Civic and M3. Please remember the present Civic is an inferior model to the one it replaces and the 3rd iteration is already in the States to recapture lost market.

As for Peugeot, I have a french colleague whom I asked before, would he consider a french car, he thought long before he replied me, "I would still choose a japanese".

I hope these helps. smile_wink.gif

Peugeot 308? I drove it for 1 year then ditched it for a Mazda 3. Go check out the Peugeot sub-forum here, it's full of complaints about the car.

From my reading, 408 is better bet than 308 since it uses newer alteration of the turbo engine. 308 is yet to get them.

Citroen is also launching new model... DS4 & DS5. Might want to see that.

What about ford Focus?

Pug 308 with facelift comes with new THP 6speed engine, is this still problematic?

Ya heard of Citroen is now taken by Nasim if consider then can only afford C4.

My wife doesn't want Focus, she has some personal objections to it though its also a good car.

I'm not driving Peugeot, but from the forum the 408 is the latest version of the THP with higher HP. Seems less problem but it is still too early to tell.

Heard DS4 & DS5 are coming. C4? May be there's some leftover from Brooklands?
