This car looks similar to new Vios, good chances are real leak Altis.
From a salesman, the new Altis will arrived in 3 months time, launch together with Thai. While the Vios is end of year here. Possible ?

i believe this is a new Altis altogether.
already the current Alltis, introduced in 2008 (5 yrs back) and received a facelift in 2010 including a new engine with dual vvti and CVT gearbox with virtual 7 speed.
the timing is just right.

New Corolla Auris hatchback version is launching in Europe. Its dual VVTi engine + CVT gearbox carried forward from Altis FL is tuned for FC.

torque 173Nm@4000rpm
The Altis sedan 2013 is set for launch after Auris hatchback. In US, they are clearing existing Altis stock to make way for the new Altis 2013.

Looks like a bit Vios 2013. Wonder altis has hybrid & how much since camry hybrid will be ckd soon.
