Went to look for a test drive on the new Focus. I ended up looking at the car only since -

1. There is no proper showroom for the sales centre near Holiday Plaza here. May be a hut and the car was placed under the sun. No waiting lounge, no view of the service centre.

2. No proper test drive vehicle. Only a brand new car with a test plate. I can't imagine if there test car later is mine, I wouldnt want that.

3. The new Focus is parked amongst reconditioned cars, Hyundai. Pasar malam?

Sime Darby if you're reading - please do something about this. If I want to buy this car, I would like to have the same buying / owning experience as I am owning Toyota / Honda / Peugeot. Proper sales and service centre.

I wanted to have a look too, but I haven't seen any promotion going on regarding the new Focus in JB.
Perhaps their main branch at Jalan Glasiar (Taman Tasek) has a car for test drive?

I've been to the Ford's showroom in Jalan Glasiar JB. I really want to buy the new focus, but would not buy it from that branch. They got the worst service compared to other brand that I've visit on the same week. (Ford is the 7th showroom)

Their staff can't even tell me what kind of segment the Focus in? What type of rear suspension they got, multi-link or torsion beam?
I already knew all the answer before I step into their doors, it's just a test that I always asked to all S.A when I visit a showroom.

FA Wagen Jalan Skudai S.As are much more professional & got a very good knowledge of what they are selling and the SA is a woman.

The problem I think is that that dealer is also selling Suzuki, Hyundai, reconditioned cars, thus the salesperson has got too many to cover. I suggest if you're really keen and doesn't mind that they do not have proper 3s centre in JB... Look for Claven. He even have his own FB.

I would like to test drive a Fiesta. So I looked for the Southern region Ford dealers. Found this:

Tried to call the Jalan Glasiar Dealer HP no 016-71XXXXXXX. But soehow the number is not in service.

Then called the land-line no (07-33XXXXXX). A (Malay) Lady answered and when I said I want to enquire about Fiesta, she asked for my phone number so that 'someone' will call back.

After a few hours now, no one called back. It seems they must have too many customers already that they are not interested in this new one.

So much for the superb customer service experience

I was informed that Ford and Subaru will open a new 3S at Bukit Indah soon, probably this year.
