Can anyone suggest a different place, where I get wipers for S40 2.4i 2008 model.

FA is selling them with a crazy price of RM 286.00 and thats parts price only,
don't know what else they will add in

there are many outsider Volvo parts traders around in klang valley..try look for ECCO @ Sea park, PJ, Yoni @ brickfield, Vauto @ Sungai Besi, See Soo @ Jalan Ipoh...try google for theit contact number..and BTW the ori Volvo P11 S40 wiper should be selling around rm1xx from these ppl.

BTW - I live in Klang

you can try this option.

go to any accessories shop and buy a refill (rubber strap).
Make sure it is same length or longer (which u can cut later)

Step 1
Remove the wiper from the arm
Step 2
wrap over the wiper end cover with raggy cloth (not too thick)
Step 3
Use a plyer to pull out the cover and remove the harden wiper
Step 4
Refill the new wiper rubber and do necessary cutting or fitting.
Step 5
Put the end cover back to the wiper and you are good to go..

Total cost: RM15-40 (depending if you are buying silicon or normal rubber)
Total time needed: 10 minutes for both arm

I ordered from a site in the USA. All you need to do is to register with myUS.com. you'll be given a postal address based in florida. you can then order wipers and eveything else that money can buy and sent it to this US address. MyUS.com will then forward the products to you in malaysia. yes, you can use maybank credit card without any problem.
in addition to wipers, i also bought office shoes (size 42 or bigger is not easy to find in malaysia for my size and limited brands)
if you want to save money, then pool with your friends to register. you can choose your membership either premium member (all yuor ordered products forwarded to myUS and it waits for your further direction to wait for other products you orderes prior to forwarding to malaysia in one big box or non-premium member -meaning every single product that you orderd and arived at myUS is automatically forwarded to malaysia. your choice. lease go this website and read more about your choices for membership
