Hi Guys,
i'm just wondering is it normal that when i turn on the Air Cond, it will turn off later and then the light on the air cond switch will blink blink then it will on back.
Normally, when i turn on the air cond, for about few seconds then the 'fan' will spin, but instead of this, the fan is not spinning and the air cond auto off itself and the light blink blink blink for 2 seconds then back to normal....
Is this normal and it happen all the times?? this problem just started this month....need clarification!!!

Air conditioner control module may function erratically - my father's Persona got replacement of module under warranty but the problem re-occurred with the replacement module too. I did ask air condition accessory shops outside of Proton SC - one said that this is a known issue. A new replacement module may suffer the same problem in time to come. Proton SC say a replacement of the module out of warranty will cost RM600 and will not guarantee that this erratic behaviour will not re-occur. So I am still waiting for a solution to this....if you find out something new...please share...TQ..

i however have found the solution for the problem..instead of the regular 'good habit' of shutting turning off the knob when shutting down the engine as i have bee practicing on my 10 year old iswara i just leave it on..just turn in to a level that comfort to you and just leave it.this thing is not made to be play around.

But...if we turn it on while shut down the engine..then it will affect the start up later...haha..damn...well,have to send it to SC to have the air cond check thoroughly..or...maybe let it be and bear with the problem???
HOW???!!!

Not sure about this way. It may be the case that this habit is one of the contributing causes for the air con controller module to start acting up and behave erratically.
Now leaving it on and not changing the settings does not appear to improve or stabilise its functions. The air con blows erratically and is intermittently on and off - even with the settings unchanged.
I guess can only hope that the spare part manufacturer can come up with a revised version which is more durable and stable in its performance.

Have checked with SC.
The response is - if the module is replaced, they cannot guarantee that it will perform as expected beyond 6 months or 1 yr of replacement.
And it will be at our own (RM600) costs and risks as the car is out of warranty.
