I just booked one. White. Delivery in 2013.

It's standard practice for VW, when they launch a new model so close to year end, to only make cars available in the following year. My guess is that the first shipment of Beetles will arrive Mar/Apr 2013 so you can be sure they are all 2013 cars.

I was told by VW Sales Agent that if place booking now, will get the car first quarter of 2013 AND it will be 2012 manufactured because its CBU. Like this rugi one year already BUT they say maybe will give discount of between 1% to 2%. I think you better check with your agent again. Just to make sure.
