my friend, Rizal recently owned a 1.3 saga flx. yes the car is on the stiff side of its ride due to the revised suspension on the flx. since he is on aftermarket 15 inches wheels, now he looking for a suspension. i dont know how but, tein s-tech springs was chosen. his arguement is if he use adjustable suspension, in the future, when servicing their shocks means he has no car to drive, he would rather replace shocks which take only 1 hour approximately for 4 shocks and drives off.
after they were put to the car, he got 3.5 fingers front and 2.5 rear. so he add some rubber at the rear top springs in gaining 3.5 fingers rear.
3.5 is not that aggressive stance but it looks practical and does give a low stance if compare to the standard setting. we drove car, and guess what,, the ride is smoother than the OE springs soak up bumps beautifully and i would say it works in harmony with its OE APM shockabsobers. amazing truly amazing and during a hard charging corner, it did lean but not too much and to the limits, the spring firmed up with the sensation of the tires are glued to the road.
well generally speaking tein is soft but it give some level of firmness at corner. progressive spring and chrome metal spring material as for its ingredient. that's what from the books.
now like we are driving a true continental car.,, not bad ar.

The springs when fitted did not give the correct height?
Since you needed to add rubber to raise back the height?

tein glued the car at corners with some amount of body lean quite noticable in karak high speed turn, i would say tie stifness of afjustable suspension is the choise.
the suppleness of tein spring works to give more contact on the rough surfaced corner, its the feeling of bites, but any other stiffer suspension will somehow trace some hops that give a less adhesion tire contact sensation but flat corner charecteristic is to everybody'like for having a more stable car poise.

When the suspension is too hard and the corner have unevenness, the car can bounce or hop.....
