Dear God, please don't start this topic again. You will get Jay to talk about the merits of the Forte (which I think most ppl are still quite okay) but when he starts the demerits (plus accusations) of Nissan cars, that's what gets everybody unhappy.
Quite comparison -
Forte has more space
Forte has more specs and gears
Nissan has more Service Centres
Nissan has better 'perceived' Resale Value.
And the List goes on...
Simple answer, test drive both cars and buy which one you like better.

Compare 2 thousand over units of Vios sales ever month with mere 5-6 hundreds Forte, then compare NGL sales with Rondo.
The answer is simple KIA is korean & Toyota, Nissan is Japanese.
Market perceive Japanese car as 1 level above Korean, There is no reason for korean sale their car cheaper than the japanese is it is not true, why not Preve since it had the highest specs & lowest price ? (simple because P1 is 1 level below that of the korean marque)
Compare Korean with Korean & Japanese with Japanese, German with German & Local with Local. End of Story..

Your uncle is capable richman while you are nothing but a bootlicker that conned your way to get your job as the bunch. Both under surname Fook. Does this show that you are as capable as your rich uncle? NO. Go get facts right. Toyota and Nissan are Japanese but Toyota is Toyota while Nissan is Nissan. Also, current US Sentra and your Sylphy are under Nissan but US Sentra is quality product wheras Sylphy is low quality alternative.
Market perceive better quality products as upper level whereas fiscal lower quality products as lower level. This is fact. People buy Forte because they were convinced of proven reliability and durability over Sonata NF engine and gearbox, also its FC comparable to quality Japanese counterparts. Talking about resale value, Forte's resale value seems to be healthier than Latio and Sylphy at selling price to new owner. Don't try to use the word trade in to evaluate as these used car dealers would sell the cars they bought at actual new owners at higher price. Fact is, used Forte is not that cheap when new 2nd owner bought them from first owner or from used car dealer.
If it's the newly debuted Kia Caren 2013 priced at not more than RM100k, then you compare the Lavina sales with Caren. However, under NASA, even if Caren has high demand, they won't be able to sell in large numbers.
Almera in EU come with CVT gearbox. Your Almera is using current Latio 1.5 engine for Singapore market mated to our local Latio 4 AT gearbox. How come? I'm sure you will remove the EGR too like how you did with Sylphy, Latio and Teana. FC claim now dropped to 14.xkm/L down from 15km/L, so smaller engine 1.5L got VVT with ligher weight, how come FC claim less than heavier X-Gear with bigger 1.6L engine yet no VVT?
