Hope the moderator will allow this post here.

The Preve is equipped with Gt Champiro BAX 2 tyres. How do you guys find the performance of the tyres vs other tyre brands that you have used before.

How many plan to ditch or have ditched the tyres and why. I know many Proton owners who immediately changed their OEM Silverstone Tyres.

For those who are keeping the tyres, any special reasons?

yeah, suppose the owners are busy exploring the CFE engine rather than the tyres.

Had a chance to trail a CFE the other day on MEX highway and I must say that those who think that the CFE lacks pace is wrong.

The CFE also accelerated quite fast for a 1.6 (although Turbo) after the Toll Plaza and could hold its lane on fast corners on the MEX.

Compared to their previous cars, Preve is relatively heavier & larger. Many owners haven't even reached their first service. Not forgetting that many are having their first encounter with driving a CVT. Imho, it's not surprising if the owners are still in the 'thread carefully' mode.

I have heard some owners complain Champiro as being noisy. These are hard tires. Can't expect them to be super quiet. As for me, I think either the stock sound proofing is doing it's job or I'm getting deaf as I grow older.

Do not expect blazing pickup at the traffic lights but once it overcomes the initial momentum, this car can be fast when you will it to.

I don't mean exactly pickup not fast enough but there's sluggishness as it moves off from standing still.

Yes, that could be it but still need to wait for an ecu update (if it's coming) before I can change that statement.
