How to calculate how much loan can apply based on the monthly salary?
Any idea?
Simplifying for easy understanding - divide principle + interest by number of months, monthly installments should not exceed 1/3 your salary.

1/3 is for total loan repayment, right? If got other loan outstanding then cannot 1/3....

I can't explain the logic and I don't understand it either, but it seems to be individual loan, not total loan!

I think they do la. They will want to make sure you can pay up, and if they think you can't then loan will be rejected.
