Totally not agree with you; The electronic is just 1 parts of problem;

I agree with you VOLVO is a great car... But the CKD version seem to be different story

Suspension, rubber seal, seat is not electronic...

True, may be is CKD problem.
I test drove the T5 from FA, very good..
Now will consider... may be T6 CBU better..

Think Twice

They haven't solve my car issue....

Especially the fuel consumption and wind noise.....

This car is drinking petrol not as claim as datasheet; about 0.26/km unless you are ok with it

I seeing people from Volvo soon

Got a Volvo S60 T5 in June 2012 and has visited the service center for almost 3 times and was there for 2 weeks everytime it was sent in. The latest was just last week where i had it towed back to Glenmarie SC due to Overheating. Some of the problems i've experienced in the past and even now :-

1. Thermostat Jammed - replaced
2. Horn faulty - replaced
3. BLIS Sensor Faulty - waiting for parts
4. Leather seat peeling - replaced
5. Keyless entry sensor faulty on one of the door - fixed
6. Gear box mounting worn out - waiting for parts
7. Rattling noise in Cabin - Investigation on going
8. Lower arm - front creeking sound - changed
9. Wind noise when travelling more than 110 km/h... - just turn on your radio loud... irritating

The list goes on guys... I'm writing to Volvo Sweden (looking for email address) & also the press (Malay Mail) since i'm freaking fed up with what i'm getting from Federal Auto Malaysia.

Both Victor & Murthy from Federal Auto Glenmarie doesn't give a damn about your problem.

Oh ya, I forgot to mention. The refill for the ContiKit is RM 220 per bottle just because the car doesn't come with Spare tyre. I had a side wall cut and when i called On call they told me that they need to tow my car all the way from Bentong to Glenmarie to change the tyre. The contikit was not able to fix the side wall puncture. Lucky for the MTD highway assist who drove me to the nearest town to get a replacement tyre if not I would have been screwed..

The S60 is a great car but for the price I paid which I would say quarter of million, it's not worth my money for the quality they produce. CKD is really screwed up and FA is screwing up further.

I've previously own Waja (ex-secretary of WPC), Altis, Peugeot 407 & now S60 T5, i would say the problem i'm having is almost as per my first batch Waja. Volvo - For life ???

Hi Shannes,
So sorry to hear your about problems. Volvo for life means "hate volvo for life". Volvo Cars Malaysia Sdn Bhd doe not give a damn to owners' problems. VCM will tell you to "get in touch with our dealer" and will list all their dealers for you.

There have been so many complaints from owners about S60s as well as FedAuto. You should get a few owners and sue the pants off FA as well as VCM. Check "vocm.my" for other owners' issues.

I keep posting on VCM'sd facebook that they barred me from writing there. I keep changing my nickname just to post my "heartfelt thought" about volvo-owning experience.

I posted that owners now can only hope for Geely Automobile (new owner) to come into Malaysia directly, kick Dopey Larsson off Msian payroll, revamp the Msian operations, kick FA out of volvo dealership and banned their mgt/staff from ever working for another auuthorised dealer.

Apart from that, try getting all owners to comem together & sue FA/VCM
