Anybody noticed the Ferrari Red Lynx RS pic in today's STAR? It shows the
front with the bonnet lifted, showing the engine (the cam cover looks
similar to the Mazda Portege (323) 2.0L sold in US) with foam air filter
and stainless steel intake plumbing?. Like the smoked headlamp ala Lynx
SV and the mesh grill...wow...it looks hot...wonder if it will be sold
here?

Heard that theres gonna be a FOR SHOW ONLY 2lit turbo. The FOR SALE car
is the 2lit Ford Tierra RS rated 142ps/hp at the engine and tarted up
with fancy bodykit and interior trim. Sadly Malaysia`s so called RS comes
with a slushbox meaning performance is gonna "R"eally "S"uck, you`ll be
lucky if it actually makes 100ps/hp at the wheels.

Btw, Ford Taiwan`s Tierra uses manual tranny.

The Focus ST170 is going to be on sale here? Wow. Cool. I'll buy one! How
much eh? Must be RM150+K haaaa! It's got 6-speed box, LSD etc. Good. I
hope they can bring a few units of the even cooler Focus RS. 200bhp thru'
front wheels. and it's quicker than the 4wd Impreza WRX on winding roads!
Even better if we can get the Focus RS Cosworth. 4wd, 300bhp! warghhh...!!!

its just rumours for now but the truth will be revealed tomorrow at klim.
i wonder how much this RS is gonna sell? to be honest i'm kinda tired
with all these mazda/ford cars - it just doesnt have the same feeling. i
wish ford could bring back the glory days when euro fords ruled and
prices were affordable.

thanks for the headsup, just checked the specs. why on earth did ford
malaysia choose to plonk in slushbox??? its a disgrace to the RS badge in
my opinion - turns it into a tarted up "all show no go" poser-mobile.
