Wah! 40k km and still have 40% balance, means pretty good durability.
The warranty depends on the thread depth balance. The lesser the thread pattern depth the lesser the claim amount.
If into performance, definitely the PS3 will be better.
Is there a performance Efficient Grip model?
EfficientGrip Performance is in S'pore also
EG Perf came out quite fast after the launching of EG. Thus, i think EG is not good enough and lotsa room to improve.
Anyway, only my tot and i never try EG or EGP before.

But EU Efficient Grip pattern also differ from the local ones here. Like Michelin 3ST are Asian Tuned....
they think too much of 'asian' roads.. a good wet tires in europe should work well in asia too.. like F1 Asy2 made in germany

Seems in Asia the consumer wants more quiet tyre unlike EU...hahhaha
The EG here have 4 straight grooves similar to the EGP, but the side shoulder pattern of EGP is more blocks....

The roads in other countries are better maintained than Malaysian roads. So road noise is not such a big problem there. Over here, some roads are so worn out and pothole ridden - very noisy!

I got good deal for a 2013 205 55 16 efficient grip tyre. I must say is a very comfortable tyre. Very quiet and smooth even when cornering.
