Heard it was launch today at Sentul, and all the bunch of buggers go there to launch it and spare parts dept - no one there at the part counter today to serve or care for customers - need to buy a sensor, and ask my own mechanic to fix it - can u imagine??? they keep selling new and forget old - so who wants to buy a car or truck again, without parts or service?

What??!!!

BTW, here are the prices for the Colorado (OTR w/o Insurance):
- 2.5 LT M/T: RM90,267
- 2.8 LT M/T: RM96,008
- 2.8 LTZ A/T: RM106,008

The 2.8 auto actually makes 470Nm. Check out our recent test drive report here: Chevrolet Colorado 2.5 LT Test Drive Report

I am happy to see 470Nm in the 2.8L, that means it makes full use of the VGT. Good job. Only thing is, Chevy should consider getting the 2.5L with VGT getting 370 of torque at least selling at sub RM100k, maybe at RM98k is ok. The new D-Max seems nice too, heard it will have 3.0L AT and not 2.8L AT so that it does not compete with Chevy directly.

The D-Max and Colorado started off development with identical platforms, but both companies diverged after that. They both utilize a different set of engines.

During my recent visit to Thailand, I can already see the new D-Max all over the streets.

I tried the 2.8 and I found the exact opposite of this test drive report.

Engine noise is the worst I ever come across and sounded exactly like a diesel truck aka very loud chattering. Very strong engine. Ride was firm but never uncomfortable. In road holding, it's so much superior to Vigor but then, any pickup can beat Vigor on that.

I prefers to use my head than follow the crowd. After all, it is my money and not theirs.
