Desmond won't accept woh! He already posted some where, owner should drive their new car until they are used to it, then only send for auto foam, then only able to feel the differences.... smile_big.gif

i drove from show room after getting my new car to Desmond place, less than 1km away,

Wah! so fast getting the its to foam? Normally new car will be very silent and stabile cause everything is new mah and foaming only start after a year cause starting or lossing....

You wouldnt get a good feel or appreciate if you done it in early stage...... cause cannot compare before and after. Furthermore you wouldn't know it's effective to your ride.

it depends on the person, really... I've done the racing formula in the side sills, and the difference in handling is really noticeable. I've got no regrets in doing it. There are other Sonata owners who have done comfort package and are happy with the handling just the same - probably their driving styles don't call for that mod.

But the racing formula makes the car flatter and more planted especially when going round bends and turning corners which for me is key for safety reasons - the car doesn't wallow and float as much which means I don't have to second guess whether the car's going to bounce, skip, or otherwise..
I don't want to be a genius - I have enough problems just trying to be a man.

I have done the roof and also foam the roof side sill yesterday.

After a long 5 grueling hours, it is finally complete and everything is being put back together. phew... wink.gif

At first, when they start dismantling, the roof and other stuff stuck on the roof, I was thinking to myself am I making the right step asking them to do this, what if they cannot put it back nicely? Regretting and in doubt. Luckily, everything was put back nicely with just a minor dirt mark on the roof panel which should be able to remove it when I have the time this weekend. Good job guys. smile_thumbup.gif

Then, the moment of truth. Start the car, put it in reverse gear, first thing I notice, the reverse sensor beeping tone now softer and pleasing to my ear. Before it was very loud, BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP..

Driving out and back to my office, everything seems so quite and no more annoying rattling sound emit from the curtain airbag bracket.. Hope it stay that way forever.

Then came the rain, it was perfect as I got to test the roof SP immediately. Surpricingly, no sound of rain drop hitting the roof smile_thumbup.gif But.... There's always a BUT. Now I can hear the rain drop hitting my windshield which I never heard before previously mask by the noice from the roof. Not loud but noticeable.

Body definitely feel more solid. Maybe it's psychological because I knew the roof side sill have been formed. Have not got the chance to push faster and hit the bent faster as it was raining and full of traffic.

Will test it out in the next few days before and after effect and hope the rattling noise will be gone forever..

So far, very happy for this addition. smile_tongue.gif
