Definition of Total Lost:
In general, we declare your vehicle a total loss when the cost to return the vehicle to pre-accident condition would be as much — or more — than the actual cash value of the car.

Bro, it is not a matter if the car is value for money but would you feel safe driving one knowing the history of the car?

Same thing happened to my brother's golf gti. Declared total loss even it actually can be rapaired. Nothing weird.
