When you change the rear drums of a low end car like the Saga there are some other things you need to consider too. E.g. what about the handbrake that acts on rear drums? What about brake balance adjustments and calibrations? What about JPJ approvals? etc
While it is nice to have, the cost may be too high to perform such mods.

For handbrakes, well the whole conversion will have to include that.

As I have said before, you may not notice the improved braking that much as most of the braking is done at the front.

proton has issue on rear drum, piston occasionally or easily jammed. so for me changing to disc will eliminate this problem.

but other alternative is gsr ck/evo 4,5,6....perhaps can get a bit cheaper...
