Hi bros,

can give some inputs on this topic?

Not really asking for the exact rate. Just want to have a feeling which bank is most competitive

I like Cimb or Maybank.

I do not trust Ambank. Bad experience with their credit card system. You pay but if their system said no received mean no their problem and you must do the calling and running just to solve their own mistake.

I learned cheapest by a few dollars is not the best.

When got problem with their payment system, Ambank have the worst name from some of my friends also. Nightmare even when it is not your own fault.

subject to:
make
model
year
tenure of loan you seek
purchase price
market value
buying direct from owner (marginally better rate) or dealer (marginally higher)
new or 2nd hand

nothing a few phone calls to a few banks can't answer
PBB, MBB, CIMB, AMB, etc, can give good rates
matter of personal experience and level of service
that said, ALL financial institutions are the same ... bloodsucking, merciless entities
more so mesia when the central bank just sits on its butt and turns the other way when banks throw scruples out the window
