Michelin Xm2 Or Ps3 ?

Basically, I'm driving Myvi SE and its time to change my stock tyres (175/65 R14). I have made up my mind to change to XM2 (185/60 R14). However, after recent visit to my regular workshop for service, my mechanics suggest to change my rim to 15" use (195/55 R15) and trade in my stock rims. Here comes my question:
If I opt to upgrade to 15" rims:
1. Should I take XM2 or the PS3? since the price not much difference (based on the latest price list) Which model is better?
2. 195/50/ R15 or 195/55/ R15? Which is more suitable for Myvi?
3. My stock SE rim (since 03/09 no scratch) with CC1 tyres (since 0209) can roughly trade in for how much?
If I opt just to change new tyres (R14):
1. Is XM2 a good choice? And is size 185/60 R14 suitable?
I'm looking for tyres with these features in particular order: Silent>Performance>Last Long
Your feedback is very much appreciated =)

2) 195/50 diameter is smaller by 1.23% from OE. 195/55 is bigger by 2.1% over OE, both can be used, therefore it depends on what you want. Power and handling then it is 195/50. Comfort, then it is 195/55.
3) Trade in depends on the shop you go to. Tyre thread pattern balance have to be considered.
If going to maintain 14", yes 185/60R14 is correct size upgrade.
XM2 can be considered, if not, take a look at Yokohama C-Drive 2

Thank you very much for your feedback, vr2turbo! It helps to clear my doubts.
One more question, which of these 2 tyres are better in terms of durability? Probably advice the total km roughly?
I'll probably settle for comfort package unless I have the extra cash to change to 15"rim+PS3. I've been checking the price list, it seems that Hin Leong still has the best price. Bro, do you any friend's shop that you can recommend in PJ or pandan indah area?
Oh ya, I called tyrezone (tmn megah,pj) and was quoted RM195/tyre for XM2 185/60R14 excluding alignment.

If keeping to 185/60R14, XM2 should be more durable the C-Drive 2.

XM2 sidewall is with 2ply rating, that is why harder. XM1 is with one ply only. Not sure of PS3, you know?

I have no idea but the PS3 does feel like it is very comfy compared to XM1 and XM2. Maybe the tyre pressures have something to do with it.
XM2 sidewalls are not that tough against kerbs - I wrote off my XM2 at MV when I brushed one of the roadside objects at very low speed!

Sometimes depends on what you hit loh.....Even when kena nails, if kena to the sidewall, also not safe to repair
