Hi all, I have just signed a HP agreement from a bank yesterday and have paid my downpayment to the SA that time. The night after signing the agreement he sms me and only found out that a few thing he promised couldnt be carried out. I fell very disappointed at that. I have contacted another SA from another branch before but i choose over this SA because he promised faster delivery time.

My question is, can I actually cancel the order from this SA and withdraw from the HP agreement? Or postpone the agreement first and transfer the purchase to another dealer with the same or different HP? any penalty if this can be done? what are the procedure?

Many thanks to all.

If you sign the loan agreement, does that means your car is ready?

is that becoz of the Car not ready or SA cant keep the promise for those free gift??

Normally sign HP agreement only when car is ready woh.... only will pay downpayment when car is tested/checked.

did u have any written agreement with the SA? U can call the bank n cancel the agreement if they havent duty-stamped it but the deposit with the SA, that's another story..

written agreement like? he give me to sign the HP agreement and sign on the T&C of the loan and i signed both. nothing else i think.

i paid by banker's check, is it ok for me to call up the HP bank to cancel the loan, if they say ok, then i cancel the banker's check if it has not been encashed? is the d/p non-recoverable? sad.gif
