For the price, Gen2 oso kalah lah.....hehehe.
However, do remember that the Saga uses torsion beam on the rear so dont expect better handling than Gen2.
Engine wise, the 1.6 IAFM do the job superbly as the CVT helps a lot.
IMHO the IAFM-equipped Campro is a little smoother than CPS powerplant.
Really, Try kacau a gen 2 and see what happens?
I remember, my son's manual 2006 gen 2 - stock car only, no engine mod , except with lower spring, complete set stabilzer bars and runs on potenza tires hit 180-200kph easily, and still very stable, but sag I dont know? the down side is Gen 2 power only with rev from 4000 rpm onwards only get the power mari, still not too bad for a proton too. now sold and do not how it is now - maybe saga sapu it now.

it definatly sounds like a giant grinder.....ive sound proofed the whole ENTIRE CAR and the noise stil unsexy !
but in all honesty...this is the only issue i have with the car...everything else ranges from very good to excellent !
btw welcome to the great world of cvt....!

Sorry bro i dont keep my eyes on the Rev counter as i was to busy focusing on the speedo to see how quick it accelerate.
If not mistaken, from a review somewhere, it was 200rpm lower than 1.3.

I have difficulty in deciding which to buy because its almost the same price as Persona Base Line.

Pesona
-no leather
-the looks just ok
-handling better than the CVT saga
-just 4 speed normal auto
-better nvh than saga
-not sure got ABS or EBD
-better plastic than BLM
BLM CVT
-leather ( although the handbrake lever is rough )
-ABS, EBD
-noisy tranny
-great power and power delivery
-handling better than BLM 1.3 but not even close to mine

-fresh looks
U are paying less for more tech, or u decide yourself

that is because you invested in the full Ultra Racing Strut Bars and ARB!

Ha ha ha how to compare!

the 1.6L CVT Saga runs on 195/50R15 with thicker front ARB and revised spring n damper rates hence d difference in R&H.
i believe the 'PERFECT' Saga would be 1.6L CVT complete with UR front strut, front lower and rear ARB plus undercarriage foaming and additional soundproofing with upgraded ICE!!
then it'll be Orgasm at every corner and straight!! HAHAHA

When Test Drive, Impress with the Build Quality compare to previous Proton.
