Getting Bored With My Forte

The cabin is spacious and airy. This is the first time in many years I am driving a sedan on a daily basis. I was driving the Focus and then the Pug 308T, both hatchbacks.

The Forte will feel like a limousine compared with your Proton BLM. I'm not saying the Proton is bad but it is just so old tech.

My initial beef with the Forte is the light steering, but driving in the city most of the time I am beginning to appreciate it. It makes the car so maneuverable in stop/start and heavy traffic conditions.

I was at Glenmarie this afternoon. As I drove past Naza Kia I saw them unloading several units of the Forte from a carrier. Maybe one of the units will be yours.

Since the Forte shares the same platform as Elantra '07 and Lancer '07, can anyone go find out whether they could replace the entire rear torsion beam suspension setup with multi-link from 1 of these? The Forte is only wider than these 2 on the front fenders, the rear parts, I think should be similar.

Notice why the floor hump in Forte is high despite having torsion beam? Probably there's space to fit all wheel drive as in Lancer for their EVO. So those who are bored with Forte, please go find out for me and share info here. At least better than changing exhaust and air intake that would cause damage to engine.

just get BOT kit la...rebuild the internal back...and then happy boosting....


(*even change engine also need rebuild internal if wanna play boost higher than stock factory)

decat + xzos mod wont damage engine...even if CEL is on all the time...23 forte/koup/sg-koup manual were thrashed at sepang recently (Megalap) and all survived smile_big.gif
