I think you are right, mate. Definitely the cheapest solution.

I'm still thinking of upgrading the head unit so I think I should wait until I've decided on that before I go buying anything.

It's so that I don't have to fiddle with my phone when I'm driving. I'd like to get it inbuilt so that when the phone rings, the stereo will go silent.

I could just use a bluetooth headset as discussed earlier in the thread but I'm thinking of upgrading the head unit instead.

Kinda. I'm going to upgrade the head unit. I was thinking about doing some other mods but I've decided against that. I don't know anything about the brands though. I'd never heard of the brand that the guy showed me in Brothers.
