Just to let u know that I am a proud owner of a Foed Escape, but sadly
to note upon getting the car, I had some warranty probs n after sending
the car for rectification nothing was done and in addition the car has to
be left over for 3 days.
Again I sent the car early in the morning first on a Sat morning and
after waited for 3 hours, nothing was done on my car. Apparently they r
more focussing on fast cash rather than attending to probs.
the following are my probs
1. Power window rattles and regulator probs
2. Front speaker pecah
3. Horn do not work
4. Accelerator jam
5. Front suspension rattles and squeks(Could be frm the steering rack and
rod)
Their argument no part available and they have to order, I have waited
more than 2 months and yet they have not revert back to me.
In addition the place that IK sent the car was located along the Fed
highway adjacent to C&C.
Do u guys happen to know where I shall sent my complaint to via d mail
and any better place for servicing the car?

details, ie name and vehicle number. Also, you said the SC 'adjacent to
C&C' but there is no SC adjacent to C&C as the C&C road only has M-B,
Peugeot and Toyota and only Peugeot has a SC. Presumably you mean across
the highway from C&C?

u never know who's behind the PC putting up the posts..
it could very well be a mockery or a sabotaj from the competitors.
who knows?
sorry cicobecky, i don't mean to say ur posting is fake.
i'm just bringing up a point. anyway, give ur details to Chips and i
believe he can help u there. Personally I have always been impressed with
Ford's service. Keep us informed of any updates to your issue, ok?

Laser S in the 80's and a Telstar in the 90's - all are good cars and
fantastic workhorses. The service center now at 225 is much better than
the old one near Rothmans ....

believe after-sales service is one of the key points in my consideration
esp when i am planning to get ford escape.
We just cant simply "masuk" into any workshop for maintenance and repair,
as such, the service must be excellent. Cannot tahan those "tidak apa"
attitude.

in section 19 i sent my lynx for door replacement (front left) insurance
claim.
First my car was left for 3 days unattended and most probably used
as a taxi to send other custmoers to LRT station.
Then they bring in the wrong door (front right) then they ask me take my
car
back as they do not have stock of left door. and i had to wait for 2
weeks. then only they replaced the door. However when door was fixed the
protector on the side of the door was wavy so i complianed and they took
almost 6 months to get the part.
Finally when they got the part they had moved to Jalan 225 so i went
there to get this done and had to leave my car for 1 day. So i thought i
would get my car serviced . They slapped me with a big bill RM 200 (for
oil change and spark plug change) the labour was more then the parts
changed and they claimed they washed my car but the car looked terrible.
when i questioned the guy he tells me that my car needed polish and it
was not the washing. I swore never ever to go to FC in PJ again (unless
its an Insurance claim and i have no choice).
There is an Ford workshop in Klang where i send my car and the service is
there is much much better and cheaper. Peolpe who dont mind driving to
klang for your services will definitely get better service for much bettr
prices.
An eg. My Lynx wind sheild cracked so i asked FC PJ for a verbal quote
and i was told it costed RM1200:o (i almost collapsed) so i thought i
will
call the Klang branch and i got the while job done for RM 580.:D
What a difference.
Just thought i would put in my two cents worth

posting such messages to damage the image of a company. I checked on the
person concerned and am aware of how he came to own an Escape and am
satisfied, pending his e-mail to me on personal details, that he is not
making things up.
We are always on the look-out for false messages as we also appreciate
that companies take all complaints seriously and we do not want them to
waste their time on false ones. That is why we will demand the personal
details of anyone who makes complaints and wants us to assist, because we
cannot bring the matter to the company concerned without such information.
In this particular case, the company has already been notified but I want
to hear from the owner personally as well.
