so the upcoming cross touran is a compact mpv with the same size as the old opel zafira ? or will it be the same size as the ford s-max
It will be similar in size to the Zafira. Nowhere close to the S-Max.

Wait for next year, VW msia bringing in the Sharan (launch in Spore already)....thats bigger than S-Max, more like the Ford Galaxy size but with a more convenient sliding door for ingress/outgress

Won't be cheap though ... I'm guessing it should exceed the RM200k mark

yeap, agreed...but if u're looking for a new full size mpv, thats the price....unless u don't mind those hyundai starex, huge & powerful yet frugal turbodiesel (around RM150K)

I initially booked a Sharan as well, but the last I heard, price is somewhere around RM249k for the basic model while RM269k for the high specs with power door etc. Booking cancelled then

Yes, seen the Touran yesterday at VW Glenmarie, can't really seat 7, more of 5+2 MPV. Specs is high and build quality is excellent. Price as quoted by Paul Tan's website : RM166,888. Comes with panoramic roof with sliding sunroof too!
