me 100km/h then late braking.. LOL haahahahhahaa..
kidding.... actually i still apply brake when i am near...
As I understand, the barrier isn't rigidly fixed. It is designed so that when a car, for example, hits it, the barrier would actually give way by swinging outward. I think this is a safety feature to prevent the barrier support/machine from breaking when hit.

Yes the barrier will swing outward. It is secure by somthing like a clamp which give way when hit by a car.
Hit the barrier once and it swing outward. Not that I am too fast but on that particular day the barrier was too slow

correct....
i "killed" a few barrier before when i could not brake in time...
the barrier swing outwards and depending how hard it is hit, it will either stayed bend outwards or will snap back into position...
btw the max speed (without tint) to go thru smart tag is 50 kmh +/-
tried... but with a storm la.... not a passenger car...
