yeah bro.. So far, this is a common issue on Rondo.. All SC knows it already.. If under warranty, they claim new compressor for u.. other wise, they just change the int bearing..
Update:
Went to SC and check, confirm is internal bearing in a/c compressor is cracked. SC replace with new bearing and the result walaa no more 'diesel' engine sound when starting up my Rondo. Is like new engine sound and on top of that FC significantly improved as well.
Damage:
Bearing: RM 120
Gas: RM60
Lubricant?: RM38
Labour: RM60
Thank u guys for pointing this out.
Cheers.

1. About ball bearing crack in air cond compressor => air cond is still available, the only thing you will notice is the BELT NOISE. After you have started the engine, the noise as though the belt rubbing the pulley sound although air cond was not on. It is still bearable if you turn on the air cond because the air cond noise may shield up the belt noise a little.
2. Passenger side warm aire => this has been the same issue even after I get the MPV the first day. You need to turn the air cond temperature control dial until almost like "9:30am" position and lower before the air can become cold to the passenger side.
I'm having the same minor issue with my Forte (c/w automatic climate control). The passenger side is cold but the drive side not as cold. Sometimes it blows warm air for a few seconds. What could be the actual problem? I went to 3 SCs to check but they say they never encounter such problem. Re-gas the A/C twice at SC (Jalan Tandang & Glenmarie) using their specific A/C machine.....still the same.
Hmmm..........could it be the Air Blend Door/Actuator acting up? Coz warm air comes from the Heater.
Anyone facing the same problem and managed to resolve it?
Thanks all.

Sugen,
Yes, I got it under warranty.
They don't have spare at the time I sent in.
Have to wait about a week or so, and that time mileage 50K++ already..
but since i brought up for warranty before 50K, i got it for free..
cheers..

Hi Bro Setisfai,
Do you mind share with me which SC you went to change the bearing? It seems that not all SC able to change the bearing.
