jaguar learnt by bmw/merc mistakes and brought in their turbodiesel XF and XJ, claiming it engineered for malaysia. what i understand is they removed the Diesel Particulate Filter to adapt to local diesels and it was a success. BMW has come back even stronger especially with their 2.0 engine on x1, 3 series and 5 series.

With reference to DPF that's only on the exhaust side like a cat convertor. That doesn't affect the reliability of the fuel system but it does affect the reliability of our environment. hahahaha.
