What is a Sprint Booster?

The Sprint Booster aims to overcome this throttle response delay for ETC equipped vehicles, by providing crisp, on-tap acceleration for whenever the driver demands it.

The ETC (Electronic Throttle Control), which is also known as Drive-By-Wire, has the unfortunate downside of delayed response and subdued acceleration, which can create problems in certain situations such as up-hill starts, quick gearchanges and overtaking.

Most cars in the 21st century have replaced the more conventional throttle cable for an ECM (Electronic Control Module) that translates how hard the pedal is pushed into electronic signals in order to provide power to the wheels.

Sprint Booster makes your car’s throttle respond faster to your foot. Everyone has heard of and noticed the “Two Second Delay” as you push accelerate. As a result, your gas pedal actually achieves a full throttle response 25% sooner than the stock configuration. Even if you have a ‘sport’ button, Sprint Booster will quicken the throttle response time. By making the throttle respond faster to your input, you will feel as though your car has more power than it really does.

Yeah. How much does it costs? Will this void warranty? Is it tailored for Mazda2&3 only?

Do these things void the warranty of the car? I do know that they piggyback on the OEM ECU unit and you can always revert to original configuration.

A few questions:

1) Any of these products ready for the new 2013 M6?
2) Price & location? (PM me if not convenient to discuss here)
