Vs Koreans - I will still choose the crv although the kimchis look better n has more features overall but still lack the smoothness of jap makes
Vs contis like pug 3008, 5008 - crv is trumped hands down in all aspects xcept for the cheaper maintenance n better resale value. If u can live with a little less reliability, more expensive parts n lower 2nd hand value, the contis r definitely much better n complete alternatives.
My 2 cents.....

2012 CR-V will be heading here hopefully in 1st quarter next year.
so hold your plan to buy the current CR-V.
possible delay in the launch due to flooding in Thailand.

Hi,
I have drove my CRV for the last 4 years. first 3 years the fuel consumption is quite which where I will get at least 10L - 11 L /100 km. But now, I am only averaging approximately 13L/100km.
Of course, if you factor in that my car has clock 180K km, maybe that is why the fuel consumption became so bad.

I agree with everyone here that CRV is an underpowered SUV. I have no problem with CRV. The built of the car is faily good but not on the sound insulation.
My major problem with this car is that at 120K km, i have changed my alternator which cost me approx. 5K and at 180K km, i have to change 1 of my engine mounting and rear wiper motor. Both cost almost 1K to change it.

This is my 2Ā¢ opinion, I have compare H Tucsen & K Sporage
before I recently purchased CRV. Though new CRV is going into
US market but dun know when will be in M'sia. Pls also note that
Thailand flood has halted the CRV 2012 in US.
I think both H & K are still not a matured car yet. The distributors are not
upto the standard especially the K brand.
CRV has the heaviest weight among H & K. Thus, the fuel consumption is surely
higher and therefore accelaration is not as good. I have just made a trip from
JB last night with 5 on board & heavy rain at some part of the road. I have made
the journey in less than 3 hours. I owned T/Camy, M/Lanser & Chev Cruse.
The NVH in CRV is good. Look carefully at CRV if you are in the Honta s/room,
opens the driver door & U will see the inner fender has installed some insulators.

NVH refers to noise, vibration, harshness - to be honest - for a 4 wheel drive - it's pretty good - doesn't compare to say an Audi Q5 but it's not bad. On fuel consumption - if mainly city driving - you'd probably get about 7.5-8km/litre which translates to about 24sen/km. If highway driving - you'd get between 12-13km/litre if you stick to under 120-130km/h ( that's about 16sen/litre) so it's not bad given it's size and weight. As mentioned previously - underpowered for highway overtaking but if you take it easy - it's a pretty comfy ride and feels much better put together than say a mitsubishi ASX.
