I just changed my absorber mounting today. So absorber need to be taken out. Funny thing is that the mechanic say no need to do wheel alignment cause optra wheel alignment is fixed and cannot be adjusted. Is this true?

Dun play2 , optra is using all 4 independence suspensions and NOT like those cheap skate torsion beam jap cars. Faster go do ur wheel alignments and then go bengkel to kick that stupid S kau2.......

Looks like the foremen did not know about optra. Once you take out the abs.. your camber will definitely be out. The alignment may be ok because the tie rod end is not being affected but the camber is the most important to avoid uneven tire tread.

Aligment According to Owner Manual:

Front Camber -0 degree 20' +/- 45'
Front Toe In 0 degree 00' +/- 10'

Rear Camber -1 degree 00' +/- 45'
Rear Toe In 0 degree 12' +/- 10'

Caster 4 degree 00' +/- 45'

So Optra memang kene buat alignment both Front & Rear smile.gif

I did not do any alignment and funny thing is that nothing bad happen to my tires. Wow! the mechanic seems very expert cause the camber, toe angle did not change after putting back the absorbers.
