Is a electric car a future?
Is it worth to buy an electric car?
Why companies doesn't produce more electric cars?
What do you think of solution on image for electric cars?
Is it ok or there is missing something?

I think the real problem here is the lack of volume and some case of 'chicken & egg'....

For them to develop the right infrastructure for electric vehicles, they've got to have enough volume (number of cars using it). Otherwise, the return on investment would take too long and not viable. This will involve a large amount of subsidies from the govt coz private companies will not be interested unless they can be sure of the return.

The customers on the other hand are waiting for the infractruture to be ready before they want to buy electric vehicles for obvious reason.

The above scenario will be never-ending but the govt has to start the process to get the ball rolling. The govt must convince private entities that it can be profitable to lure their interest in the investment.

Another thing to consider is the public mindset itself. Due to lack of awareness, many people are still skeptical on the capability of fully electric vehicles. Can it go to 110km/h?, can I drive it JB-KL without stopping? Can I fit my whole family in it without being bogged down?.... Those are just some of the questions in people's mind if electric vehicle is mentioned.

Looking at the world economy from a bird's eye view... what's going to happen to the petrol industries if the demand on petrol is reduced.. all the oil tycoons will not be happy...

i wonder why nissan is doing nothing about their LEAF for the malaysian market
it's the first market ready mass produced fully electric vehicle
they have promotional drives in europe but nothing here

conversely, bmw is going all out with their e-vehicle ...
why and how is bmw able ... what's keeping nissan from doing so?
