Do you realize that Singapore get better package..with bi-xenon, Traction
Control and Cruse Control....and still cheaper that Civic 2.0. Why
Malaysia does not have this package ? That's mean the actual price is
suppose to be much lower....

Probably we will get the high specs version later, the current version
maybe just to test water 1st.
But the Lancer is definitely a drivers car...fun fun fun!!

The Sg version does not have traction control.
It does, however, come with built-in Rockford ICE with 10" sub in a
customised enclosure. Automatic aircon. Sunroof version is S$2k extra. Leather.
The price is just a shade below that of Civic 2.0Si, and the general
consensus is that it is better to get the Civic. Also, the general feedback
is that the engine is noisy, with an equally noisy CVT drive train.

The Lancer 2.0GT in Malaysia is a whopping 10+K less than the Civic 2.0S.
This is a big difference considering the former's CBU and the latter's
CKD.
In Singapore, the Lancer 2.0GT is way, way overpriced.

If you are so hard up about the HIDs, here`s an idea.
With the 10K saving in the price, go down to the Mitsu parts center in
Singapore and buy all the HID components required to convert your halogens
to HID and get a competent wireman to install it.
