Just came to know about Orsen Under Armor Protection. It is a hard cover for the underside of your engine, protecting it from being hit by hard objects.

This undercarriege protection cover are good to have, but make sure the vent holes position on it suite your engine layout as most car engine/gerabox design need some undercarriege cross air ventilation therefore right position of vent hole are important...and also the price quoted are abit high..FYI, my Volvo came with it as original fixture but it only cost less than rm200..

this is good protection during any collision especially involved the undercarriege..beside it's good for the underfloor aerodynamic .

I'm seriously considering to install this plate.
Some cars are designed where in a bad crash, the engine would fall from the car body. So, would installing this plate affect this design?

Think now a day not many new car (smart fortwo and benzs entry models) are designed with crash protection with "engine drop" that not friendly interm of repairing and further more those design with "engine drop" are when the engine are slide down, it will slide together with the subframe not just engine & gearbox, and if you look on these undercariege protection design, there are bolt on the subframe instead of engine or gear box...
