What's so special or rather what's so difficult to tint a Peugeot 406 that I need to pay additional RM100 for the workmanship?

The installer said that windscreen is curvier than normal cars like Proton, Toyota, Honda, etc etc. Thus more work and more difficult to tint.

Bullsh1t?

More like got conned. If CNY price, it would be RM88, 98, 108, 118, and so on...

No.

And i always wonder how do they measure or determine the curve.

If they are talking about 308 or newer models, i agree....curvier and bigger windscreen.

i did a survey in a tint shop in setapak...i told the lady that I have a Proton Perdana and wish to have it tinted. She quoted me this price $$$$$$. Then i told her I have another car to tint. She asked what car....I said Peugeot 406.

Immediately she added another RM100 to the price she quoted me for the perdana.

Asked why... she claimed that Peugeot cars are difficult to tint, bla bla bla...and bigger windsreen and windows.

What the hell??!!! How much difference is it compare to a Perdana???? hahaha!

Unless it is really more curvier then yes, because for front screen no cutting lines to accommodate, unlike in the rear they can hide the cut on demister line.....
