Proton 1.5 Sedan - Auto Gear Locked!

Hi guys,

I have mistakenly locked my auto gear with the built in lock for proton auto gear. Some more, before i lock it, the auto gear was at "N" rather than "P". So i tried to push the gear back to "P" and the same time try to unlock it by turning clockwise. After trying 15 mins, i was unable to unlock it.

How can i unlock it? Could it be rusty on the inside? I did not lock it for quite some times..
